TERMS //
PAYMENT: Payment is upfront via PayPal invoice only. If your order exceeds $60, you will have the option to pay half upfront and half before I send the final file. I won't start working until I receive the upfront/first payment, and I won't send the full resolution image until it has been fully paid for. I use the "digital goods" option so I will not see your shipping address.
WAITLIST: I use a waitlist system if I’m only taking a certain amount of orders at once and someone messages me while I’m full. In this case, I will write your name down and message you as soon as I finish an order and I have an empty spot for you. This action is obligation free.
UPDATES: (Paintings only!) I will periodically update you with screen grabs of my progress, making sure that everything is okay at each step of the way. I will send you updates when I have them, so please don’t message me regularly asking for updates.
USAGE: You’re allowed to post the finished commission wherever you want or use as an icon, header, etc. Credit is appreciated but not necessary. You are allowed to print your commission. You are NOT allowed to claim that you created the painting yourself, regardless of any alterations to it. You are NOT allowed to use the image to gain a profit (third party websites like Redbubble, Inprnt, Society6, etc), regardless of any alterations to it. I will sometimes post completed commissions on social media and use them in information posts/advertisements as an example of my work. If this is a problem for you, let me know.
ORDER REFUSAL: I have the right to refuse orders. Some things I just won’t want to do, if I feel like it is out of my range of practice, or if it makes me uncomfortable.
MIDWAY ADJUSTMENTS: The prices I come up with are representative of how much time and effort I believe the painting will take. Therefore, if you ask me to make changes to the character design midway that I believe will increase time/effort, I will ask for an additional payment to compensate. This does NOT include errors that I may have made interpreting the character.
REFUNDS: Because of the regular updates, I cannot give refunds after I’m finished. If necessary, I will give you your money back if I’m not that far along the painting.
